Under the able guidance of Pujyashree Bhupendrabhai Pandya, meditation and
religious shibirs/seminars are held on a regular basis. Various scriptures that
are seldom talked on are explored at these seminars. Attending these seminars
is exceptionally alluring in their own unique manner. Firstly, since these are
held at serene resorts, near the city, in terms of distance and simultaneously
away from its hustle-bustle so that one tends to be away from the daily
rigmarole of life. Secondly, the numbers of participants are restricted, which
facilitates personalized attention as well as satisfies the academic
curiosities of inquisitive learners. Finally, meditation, which is known to
relieve stress and, the technique of awakening chakras is taught here.
It also helps to increase the attention span and quality of concentration of an
individual.
Learning and practicing meditation has led to wondrous results, physical and
spiritual. Participants have felt peace, experienced a constant flow of energy
and developed oneness with the Supreme Being.
Urban life is a fast moving lane, there is no time to stand and stare so here
an attempt is made where one makes time for an appointment with his
own self, to
look within and beyond. Each person is blessed with individual attention by Pujyashree Bhai whereby they can publicly or if required privately talk about
their experiences during meditation and their areas of trouble.
Prior to one such shibir a lady was advised complete rest by the doctors since she was suffering from very high blood pressure. But she insisted that she wanted to attend the seminar. The doctor agreeing to let her go, prescribed her a series of medicines and asked her to take it easy. The meditation sessions did her so much good, that she did not require any of her medication during the seminar, and when she returned, her blood pressure was absolutely normal. People suffering from insomnia have wondrous effects through meditation. There are many such instances, which prove the usefulness of meditation.

'Kahata Kabir Suno Bhai Sadho . . . . . . . .'
A meditation camp organized by Samakti Seva Parivar enhanced our outlook on the devout saint Kabir through the discourses given by Pujyashree Bhupendrabhai Pandya. We had the opportunity to glimpse at the relatively unknown, yet spiritually potent 'Dohas' of Kabir. These discourses were interspersed with insightful meditative sessions during this three-day camp at Modi's Resort, Karjat, which invigorated one and all.
