Mahashivratri
Mahashivratri was celebrated at Pujyashree Bhai's residence with an unequalled
faith and exemplary family-like bonding. Witnessing a Rudrabhishek was a
first time experience for most of the people present. Each and every person had
the opportunity to participate in the Abhishek, in an environment
reverberating with the chants of verses in praise of Lord Shiva.
Shree MahaLakshmi Poojan and Yagna
Shree MahaLakshmi Poojan and Yagna were held during the auspicious days of
Navratri, as an offering of love and respect to the merciful Mother Lakshmi.
Scores of seekers took part in this pooja of Shree Yantra and the yagna
performed in honour of Goddess Lakshmi. In the pious proximity of Pujyashree
Bhai, everyone present could feel their minds merging with the atmosphere,
which was charged by the rendition of the sacred hymns of Shree Suktam.
Geeta Jayanti
Geeta Jayanti, in keeping with annual traditions was celebrated with
chanting of Geeta verses by hundreds of people simultaneously in Mumbai and in
Kolkata, where Pujyashree Bhai's discourses on Bhagavat were going on. During
the discourse that followed Bhai explained the universal message of Bhagavat
Geeta in a gist and inspired the seekers to practice at least one karma everyday
without any expectations, eventually reaching the status of a karmayogi.
Paryushan parva
During the Paryushan parva, Pujyashree Bhai visited eleven institutions and
addressed tapasvis and seekers on various spiritual subjects with social
relevance. Pujyashree Bhai's authority over Jain philosophy and its
applicability to modern life moved the Jain community of Mumbai. They were
impressed by the secular nature of Hinduism and it ignited their interest in
its scriptures.
